Job summary

Connexion Systems & Engineering seeks a seasoned Service Life Analysis Engineer for aircraft structures in Fort Worth, TX. The role focuses on DaDT, fatigue analysis, fracture mechanics, and overall airframe structural integrity for military aircraft programs.

Ideal candidates bring extensive experience in structural analysis of aircraft, crack initiation/growth, and development of engineering solutions to ensure safety, reliability, and service life of aircraft fleets.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
5+ years of airframe structural stress or fatigue analysis experience.
5+ years in MRB, durability, crack growth and damage tolerance assessments.
Strong understanding of fracture mechanics and fatigue life prediction.
Active U.S. Government Security Clearance required; U.S. Citizenship is a must.

Responsibilities

Perform DaDT assessments, fatigue analysis, structural stress analysis, and strength evaluations of primary and secondary aircraft structures.
Conduct crack initiation, crack growth, and fracture mechanics analyses to evaluate structural integrity and service life.
Support MRB activities, structural design reviews, and technical reporting.
Evaluate load paths, material properties, and fatigue performance to identify risks.
Develop force management data and support maintenance planning.
Create and implement FSMPs and IAT programs.
