Job summary

Advanced American Technologies, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Senior Developer for D365, Dataverse, and Power Platform with 16+ years of experience. The role combines on‑site and remote collaboration in a hybrid Washington, DC setting, including CI/CD ownership, ALM, and production support.

You will drive complex development, engage with stakeholders, and mentor junior staff while ensuring secure, scalable solutions across Azure services and Power Platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a closely related technical discipline.
• 16+ years of progressive software development experience.
• Hands-on Dynamics 365 CE / Dataverse / Power Platform development.
• C#/.NET plug‑in and custom API development for Dataverse.
• TypeScript/JavaScript client extensions and PCF control development.
• Azure DevOps pipeline authoring and ownership (YAML, multi‑stage).
• Power Platform ALM - solution layering, environment variables, connection references, managed deployments.
• Pull request review as designated merge authority on a protected branch.
• Production support ownership with defined severity tiers and SLAs.
• Secure development practice - code-level security review, secrets management, PII/PHI handling.
• Government cloud delivery - GCC, GCC High, or Azure Government (desirable).
• Infrastructure as code - Bicep, ARM, or Terraform (desirable).
• Generative AI integration (desirable).
• Data and reporting - Power BI, Fabric, Synapse, Data Factory (desirable).
• Mentoring and capability transfer to government staff (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Personally design and build complex Dataverse plug‑ins and custom APIs in C#/.NET.
• Build and maintain integrations across GCC/commercial boundary with proper retry and idempotency handling.
• Own CI/CD pipelines, ALM processes, and release management across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production.
• Review code as merge authority and enforce standards, security, and test coverage.
• Provide production support, triage defects, and drive root-cause analysis.
• Mentor staff and other developers through review and guidance.
