The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior D&O Consultant Specialized Claims to join our Management Liability Claims Team.

This role can be fully remote or hybrid at one of The Hanover’s offices, and is a full-time exempt position handling complex D&O claims across the country. You will manage a caseload of Private and Non-Profit D&O claims from inception to disposition, with opportunities to handle Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, and Financial Institutions

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years handling litigated private and non-profit D&O coverage and/or liability cases.
• Experience with Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, and Financial Institutions Liability is a plus.
• Maintain state adjuster licenses and complete required continuing education to stay current with regulatory and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage the company’s most complex, high-severity D&O claims with significant financial exposure, including sensitive investigations and litigated matters.
• Analyze and determine coverage, liability, and damages based on facts; apply various D&O coverage forms and endorsements.
• Communicate clear written positions to insureds and required parties on coverage and damages.
