Job summary

Allied World in Farmington, CT seeks an experienced Claims professional to investigate, evaluate, and resolve claims across D&O, fiduciary, crime, and other professional lines. You will collaborate with underwriting, finance, actuarial, and operations to deliver superior service to clients and brokers.

The role requires formal education including a four-year degree and preferably a JD, with extensive knowledge of insurance claims and strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years’ experience handling liability insurance claims.
• JD strongly preferred; four-year college degree required.
• Deep knowledge of D&O, fiduciary, crime, and professional lines claims.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage a heavy claims load across accounts and coverages.
• Analyze coverage, draft positions, and work with counsel on litigation strategy.
• Meet with clients/brokers and prepare claim summaries for management.
