Job summary

Allied World is seeking a claims professional in Farmington, CT to investigate, evaluate and resolve cyber liability insurance claims. You will engage with insureds, brokers, defense counsel and other parties, drafting coverage positions and managing reserves with input from underwriting and finance teams.

You will collaborate across underwriting, actuarial and operations on projects, prepare summaries and reports, and represent the company in negotiations and litigation when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of cyber liability claims handling or related legal experience.
• Bachelor's degree required; JD preferred.
• Substantial knowledge of cyber/technology claims and coverage issues.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage a vigorous load of cyber liability claims and draft coverage positions.
• Represent company in resolutions and mediation, interact with insureds, brokers and defense counsel.
• Verify coverage for cyber incidents and coordinate with breach consultants and vendors.
• Prepare claim summaries and reports for management.
• Meet with clients and brokers and attend conferences.
