Job summary

Allied World is seeking an experienced claims professional to investigate, evaluate and resolve liability insurance claims including D&O, fiduciary, crime and other professional lines. You will collaborate with underwriting, finance, actuarial and operations on projects and provide superior service to clients and brokers.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of relevant experience, a four-year college degree (JD preferred), and strong negotiation, communication and writing skills.

Qualifications

• Seven plus years of liability insurance claims experience or relevant experience.
• Experience with D&O, fiduciary, crime and other professional lines claims preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities; technical writing experience.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve claims across broad coverages and accounts.
• Draft coverage positions, analyze coverage and manage litigation with counsel.
• Establish reserves and report claim developments to management.
• Participate in legal proceedings, mediations, and cross‑functional projects.
• Engage with clients and brokers; prepare claim summaries and reports.
• Attend industry conferences and meet with prospective clients.
