SimVentions seeks a Senior-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to join the team on-site at NSWC Dahlgren, Virginia. The role requires a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and DoD IA policy expertise. The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years in security engineering with naval systems.

The position emphasizes developing cyber requirements, risk assessments, and system architecture to strengthen combat systems against evolving threats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity preferred.
• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility required.
• IAT Level II certification or higher per DoD 8570.01 required.
• Understanding of DoD IA policies for land-based and afloat/tactical systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, and guidance for combat systems.
• Conduct cybersecurity research and coordination across classification levels.
• Lead groups to develop cybersecurity strategies against threats.
• Analyze cybersecurity, intelligence, and IT policy gaps for combat systems.
• Perform cybersecurity system engineering design and documentation for combat systems.
• Develop cybersecurity risk assessments and mitigation plans for combat systems.
• Document cybersecurity requirements, gap and threat analyses, and risk management for combat systems.
• Develop MBSE models to perform cybersecurity analysis.
