Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Senior-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to join the team on-site at NSWC Dahlgren, Virginia. The role requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and strong cybersecurity engineering experience for Navy combat systems.

Applicants must have DoD IA policy knowledge, IAT Level II certification, and the ability to lead security efforts across multi-classification environments. On-site work at Dahlgren is expected with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years program specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical combat systems.
• Ten (10) years general security engineering experience.
• IAT Level II certification or higher per DoD 8570.01.
• Privileged user requires JPAS T-5/T-R with IT level-1 and OS/CE training within six months.
• Understanding of cybersecurity and DoD IA policies for land and afloat systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, best practices, and guidance for combat systems.
• Lead working groups to develop cybersecurity strategies against emerging threats.
• Perform analysis of cybersecurity and information technology policy gaps for combat systems.
• Design and document cybersecurity system engineering for combat systems.
• Develop cybersecurity risk assessment analyses and mitigation plans for combat systems.
• Create MBSE models to perform cybersecurity analysis.
