SimVentions is seeking a Senior-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. This on-site role is seated at NSWC Dahlgren, Virginia, requiring an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and US citizenship for access to classified information.

Experience in cybersecurity requirements development, threat analysis, and DoD IA policies is essential. Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity preferred; compensation ranges from $125,000 to $195,000 USD annually with full benefits.

Qualifications

5+ years program specific security engineering experience in Navy afloat/tactical or 10+ years general security engineering experience.
IAT Level II or higher per DoD 8570.01 (or successor)
Understanding of DoD IA policies and ability to communicate clearly in written and oral form.

Responsibilities

Develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, best practices, and guidance for combat systems.
Conduct cybersecurity research, analysis, and coordination for DoD cyber assurance and policy efforts across multiple classifications.
Lead working groups to develop cybersecurity strategies to meet emerging threats.
Analyze cybersecurity, intelligence, and IT policy gaps for combat systems.
Perform cybersecurity system engineering design, analysis and documentation for combat systems.
Develop cybersecurity risk assessment and mitigation plans for combat systems.
Document cybersecurity requirements, gap analysis, threat analysis, system engineering, risk assessment and mitigation for combat systems.
Develop MBSE models to perform cybersecurity analysis.
