Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead strategic cybersecurity initiatives that strengthen security posture, reduce risk, and enable business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, cybersecurity, business, engineering or related field.
• 5–8+ years leading cross-functional projects and programs in technology, cybersecurity, risk or compliance.
• Experience coordinating multiple teams, stakeholders and dependencies.
• Experience delivering initiatives in cybersecurity domains (Identity, Cloud, Network, etc.).
• Strong PM disciplines: planning, risk, dependency, governance and reporting.
• Ability to craft executive-level communications and status materials.
• Proven influence in matrixed organizations and budget/forecast management.
• Experience with project financials, vendor engagements or investment initiatives.
• Strong written, verbal, facilitation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex cybersecurity initiatives from planning through implementation.
• Maintain integrated project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies and actions.
• Coordinate delivery across cybersecurity teams, technology groups, stakeholders, vendors and partners.
• Drive execution in areas like IAM, PAM, Security Operations, Cloud and Network Security.
• Facilitate planning sessions, governance forums and executive updates.
• Identify risks, resource constraints, and schedule impacts; develop mitigation plans.
• Establish reporting for progress, risks, decisions and business outcomes.
• Translate technical concepts into business-focused communications for leadership.
• Align project execution with strategic objectives and capability roadmaps.
• Manage scope, goals and timeline; ensure alignment with objectives.
• Oversee project financials, budgets and forecasts; support procurement when needed.
• Drive accountability and resolve issues; mentor junior PMs.
