Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer, Sr. Principal, to own the DoD cyber defense posture from Zero Trust architecture to RMF/ATO lifecycle management.

You will design, implement, and maintain security boundaries, and manage RMF artifacts ensuring continuous Authority to Operate compliance. The role emphasizes ICAM, PAM, RBAC, MFA, and enterprise threat intelligence coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 12–15 years in cybersecurity engineering.
• 8+ years RMF/ATO leadership; 5+ years designing Zero Trust/ICAM architectures.
• 5+ years enterprise IR/threat hunting experience.
• US citizenship required; Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Own the DoW defensive cybersecurity posture end to end, from Zero Trust to RMF/ATO lifecycle management.
• Lead end-to-end architectural design, technical implementation, and RMF documentation for security boundaries and defenses.
• Design and enforce the ICAM framework (IdP, PAM, RBAC, MFA) across the enterprise.
• Lead incident response and threat intelligence operations, including MISP deployment and IOA/dissemination workflows.
