Job summary

General Dynamics - IT is seeking an Sr. Cyber Security Architect to lead architecture efforts across identity, networks, and data within a Zero Trust framework.

You will shape secure enterprise architectures for hybrid environments, including on-prem and cloud, and guide multi-disciplinary teams to implement secure, compliant solutions. Expect to work closely with executives to set technical objectives, manage risk, and drive modernization across the agency’s technology stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• 10+ years of related experience in cybersecurity architecture.
• Active TS with SCI eligibility and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise cybersecurity architecture efforts across identity, devices, networks, applications, and data within a Zero Trust model.
• Design secure architectures for hybrid on-prem/cloud environments and Microsoft 365.
• Define standards and baselines; ensure alignment with NIST RMF and federal directives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to oversee threat modeling, API security, and data protection strategies.
• Advise executives and lead architecture boards and interagency councils.
