Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to design and implement a comprehensive security architecture across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will lead risk assessments, governance, and the integration of SIEM/IDS/IPS tools to protect critical data and operations.

The role requires 10+ years in cybersecurity with leadership experience, strong knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS, and experience in DevSecOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with leadership/architect roles.
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS and cloud security.
• Proficiency with security technologies and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience in transportation/logistics sector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy.
• Design secure IT environments including network, cloud, IAM, and data protection.
• Oversee integration of security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS) into the IT architecture.
• Lead incident response and vulnerability management programs.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and communications teams to align security with business goals.
