Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Architect to design, implement, and maintain a robust security architecture across on‑prem and cloud environments.

You will lead strategy, guide technical security solutions, and collaborate with senior leadership to align security with business objectives. The role requires 10+ years in cybersecurity, 5+ in leadership, and deep expertise in NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and SIEM/DLP.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Deep experience in security architecture design across enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS).
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management, incident response, and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy.
• Design secure IT environments, including network, cloud, and data protection.
• Architect and implement security controls for on‑prem and cloud infrastructure.
• Conduct risk assessments to ensure security standards and policies are met.
• Develop and maintain a governance framework for security practices across the organization.
