Job summary

Southern California Edison seeks a Cyber Threat Intelligence Senior Specialist to join the Cyber Threat Intelligence team within the CSOC. You will analyze threats, develop intelligence products, and support insider risk investigations, collaborating with industry peers and federal partners.

The role is hybrid, based in Rosemead, CA, with travel up to 20%. You will shape the program, manage PIRs, and translate intelligence into incident response for technical stakeholders and senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in information technology, information security and/or cybersecurity.
• US Citizenship Required.

Responsibilities

• Performs security risk, vulnerability assessments, and business impact analysis for medium complexity information systems.
• Carries out project reporting for assigned projects, monitoring project status, timeline and budgets.
• Adopts and follows security controls, processes, and procedures to manage risk across all information system environments.
• Monitors technology risk, identifies root cause or key themes, investigates suspected attacks and manages security incidents.
• Implements appropriate security measures for information systems and applications that control access to data.
• Develops and maintains metrics, alerts, dashboards, and reports for security monitoring.
• Maintains incident response plans and performs incident response activities as directed.
• Protects customer data and sensitive information with high standards of conduct.
