Job summary

Southern California Edison in Rosemead, CA, is seeking a Senior Specialist, Cyber Security Architecture to partner with the Cybersecurity Technology team to evaluate existing tools, gather requirements, and help design new security solutions that protect the grid and customers.

The role covers security risk assessments, incident response, and governance of security controls, with opportunities for cross-functional collaboration and security monitoring improvements.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in information technology, information security and/or cybersecurity.
• Experience evaluating, testing, and assessing security tools and controls across infrastructure, network, and applications.
• Familiarity with security controls, risk management, and incident response processes.

Responsibilities

• Performs security risk, vulnerability assessments, and business impact analysis for medium complexity information systems.
• Monitors risk, investigates incidents, and supports audits with security evidence.
• Develops and maintains metrics, alerts, dashboards for security monitoring.
