Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking a Cybersecurity Senior Specialist to lead the CSIRT coordination across the enterprise and partner with CSOC analysts, IT, legal, and business stakeholders. You will drive playbooks, runbooks, and the CSIRP, coordinate exercises, and guide post-incident reviews to strengthen security posture.

You’ll work with executives and various teams to ensure a fast, unified response to security incidents while contributing to a resilient, cleaner energy future.

Competenze

• Five or more years of experience in information technology, information security and/or cybersecurity.
• US Citizenship required.
• Experience in Security Operations Centers and/or Incident Response teams.
• Experience translating technical information for a non-technical audience.
• Experience engaging with executives and managing cross-functional programs.
• Experience tracking data and producing metrics for security operations.
• Strong organizational skills for handling high-pressure incidents.
• Excellent communication in high‑pressure, time‑sensitive situations.

Mansioni

• Performs security risk, vulnerability assessments, and business impact analysis for medium complexity information systems.
• Carries out project reporting for assigned projects, monitoring status, timeline and budgets; helps implement current and future security domains.
• Adopts and follows security controls and procedures to manage risk across environments with the help of management teams.
• Monitors technology risk, identifies root causes, investigates suspected attacks, and manages security incidents; uses forensics where appropriate.
• Implements security measures to control data access and prevent unauthorized modification or disclosure.
• Develops and maintains metrics, alerts, dashboards, and reports for security monitoring.
• Maintains incident response plans and conducts response activities per established procedures and guidelines.
• Ensures protection of critical assets and sensitive information with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
