Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking a Senior Specialist, Cyber Security Architecture in Rosemead, CA. You will partner with the Cybersecurity Technology team to evaluate existing tools, gather requirements, and support Architects in designing new security solutions that protect the grid and customers.

You will help power our planet by improving security across infrastructure, networks, and applications, with a focus on risk, incident response, and governance in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in information technology, information security and/or cybersecurity.
• Experience in cybersecurity engineering, including evaluating, testing, and assessing the effectiveness of security tools and controls across infrastructure, network, and application environments.

Responsibilities

• Performs security risk, vulnerability assessments, and business impact analysis for medium complexity information systems.
• Assists in planning and implementation of current and future security domains including new service areas.
• Monitors technology risk, investigates incidents, and supports audits.
