Qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience in information technology, information security and/or cybersecurity.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/InfoSec/IS or related field.
  • Experience evaluating security tools and controls across infrastructure, network, and applications.
  • Project management experience coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CISM, or PMP.

Responsibilities

  • Performs security risk, vulnerability assessments, and business impact analysis for medium complexity information systems.
  • Carries out project reporting for assigned projects, monitoring status, timeline and budgets; assists in planning security domains.
  • Adopts and follows security controls, processes, and procedures to manage risk across environments.
  • Monitors technology risk, identifies root causes, and investigates suspected attacks and incidents.
  • Implements security measures for information systems and applications to protect data access and integrity.
  • Develops metrics, alerts, dashboards, and reports for security monitoring.
  • Maintains incident response plans and conducts incident response per procedures and guidelines.
  • Protects physical, financial and cybersecurity assets and ensures safeguarding of private data.
