Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) seeks a Cybersecurity Senior Specialist – Threat Hunter in Rosemead, CA to identify threats before they impact operations. You will conduct hypothesis-driven hunting, leverage threat intelligence, and improve monitoring across enterprise and OT environments.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in information technology, information security and/or cybersecurity.
• US Citizenship required.
• Experience operating as Threat Hunter, Incident Responder, Detection Engineer, or Cyber Defense professional.
• Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK and threat actor behaviors.
• Experience correlating telemetry from endpoints, networks, cloud, and OT environments.

Responsibilities

• Performs risk, vulnerability assessments and business impact analysis for information systems.
• Manages project reporting, timelines and budgets for security initiatives.
• Implements security controls to protect data across infrastructure, networks and applications.
• Monitors technology risk, investigates attacks and manages security incidents.
• Develops metrics, alerts, dashboards, and reports for security monitoring.
• Maintains incident response plans and leads response activities.
• Ensures protection of customer data and sensitive information with integrity.
