Job summary

Coalition, Inc. is seeking a seasoned underwriter to drive profitable business from a select group of brokers and partner with our Sales organization. You will underwrite and manage products across Coalition’s portfolio, including enterprise risk, while serving as a trusted partner to brokers and customers.

This is a fully remote role based in Florida or the broader Atlanta area. You will mentor others, lead complex coverage discussions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve

Qualifications

• 5+ years of underwriting experience, including handling high-complex cyber and Technology E&O risks for large enterprise business (~$1B+ revenue).
• Ability to analyze complex cyber and technology risks for underwriting, pricing, structure, and profitability.
• Ability to combine underwriting expertise with broker and client needs to craft solutions.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and executive-facing broker/client communication.
• Experience mentoring others and contributing to underwriting standards or training.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal accounts within authority, including the enterprise segment (~$1B+ revenue).
• Maintain broker relationships and play a visible role in client-facing activity for large accounts.
• Maintain underwriting files, documentation, and internal tool usage per workflows.
• Lead discussions on coverage, endorsements, and non-standard structures for large markets.
• Provide deeper underwriting judgment for complex organizations and exposures.
• Mentor and coach other underwriters and support broker communication and deal strategy.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Claims, CPU, and security teams to improve underwriting decisions and outcomes.
• Help shape regional underwriting practices and escalation standards.
• Travel regularly for broker management, client meetings, and market-facing activity.
