Job summary

Coalition, Inc. is seeking a Security Analyst to protect policyholders from loss by analyzing data breaches and security gaps across clients. You will advise CISOs and work with product teams to codify best practices into underwriting models and risk tools.

You will review insureds' security postures, evaluate programs, and triage incidents while staying current on regulatory trends and emerging practices. This remote-first role supports our client base across regions.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of security analysis, defender/blue team or pentest experience.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, network analysis and log/traffic capture.
• Familiar with NIST, ISO, HIPAA, PCI frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/InfoSec/Engineering or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze the security posture of insureds or potential insureds quickly and efficiently.
• Evaluate customer security programs, technologies, controls, and environments; recommend enhancements.
• Analyze root causes of cyber insurance claims and identify preventable exposures.
• Triage security incidents and claims; develop detection tradecraft from threat intel.
• Provide recommendations on solutions to help customers manage information security risk.
• Track emerging security practices and contribute to internal processes and products.
• Stay abreast of the regulatory environment and industry trends.
