Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer to support Advanced Tactical Missions. The role focuses on embedding cybersecurity requirements in system designs, guiding security implementations, and aligning RMF processes with DoD/IC directives. Travel may be required.

The ideal candidate will have a TS/SCI clearance, strong RMF experience, and proven ability to coordinate across technical teams to secure complex systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with extensive cybersecurity experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain polygraph.
• Experience developing RMF assessment and authorization documentation.
• Experience with RMF processes and DoD/IC security standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication; stakeholder management.
• Experience deploying security controls in cross-domain environments.

Responsibilities

• Design baked-in cybersecurity requirements and protections.
• Provide cybersecurity guidance to engineering teams.
• Assess stakeholder security objectives and verification methods.
• Inform SE efforts to reduce security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Cost/benefit analysis of security functions and controls.
• Prepare and maintain RMF documentation and artifacts.
• Apply CSSE practices to Cross Domain Solutions where applicable.
