Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an experienced Cyber Systems Engineer to support Advanced Tactical Missions programs from multiple locations, including Linthicum, MD, Fairfax, VA or Morrisville, NC.

The CSSE will ensure cyber protection in system designs, decompose cybersecurity requirements, and guide security governance and RMF processes for a robust defense-in-depth architecture. Qualified candidates will have active TS/SCI clearance, DoW/IC SSE experience, and Agile familiarity.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience; 6+ years with a Master's; 4+ years with a PhD
• Active TS/SCI clearance current and within scope; willing to sit for polygraph
• Experience developing RMF assessment and authorization documentation
• Experience with RMF accreditation functions, including POAM management and all RMF steps

Aufgaben

• Support the architecture and design of baked-in cybersecurity requirements and protections
• Provide cybersecurity system engineering implementation guidance to technical teams
• Review and assess stakeholder security objectives and verification methods
• Inform systems engineering with security considerations to reduce vulnerabilities
• Quantify costs/benefits of security functions to support risk decisions
• Prepare and maintain cybersecurity program documents and RMF artifacts
• Apply CSSE responsibilities to Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) and related areas
