Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking an experienced Cyber Systems Engineer to support Advanced Tactical Missions programs across Linthicum, MD; Fairfax, VA; or Morrisville, NC locations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline; 12 years with a B.S. (or 10 with a M.S.; 8 with a PhD)
• Active U.S. Government TS/SCI clearance with polygraph willingness
• Experience developing RMF assessment and authorization documentation
• Experience with RMF accreditation functions and POAM management
• Experience assessing security posture per customer requirements
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience with DoW/IC System Security Engineering activities
• Security+ or CISSP certification
• Experience in Agile execution framework

Responsibilities

• Support architecture and design of baked-in cybersecurity requirements
• Provide cybersecurity system engineering guidance to technical teams
• Review stakeholder security objectives and verification methods
• Inform systems engineering to reduce vulnerabilities and asset loss
• Evaluate costs/benefits of security functions for trade-offs
• Author and maintain cybersecurity program documentation and RMF artifacts
• Apply CSSE responsibilities to Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) and related areas
