Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of relevant experience; 10 years with a Master's; 8 years with a PhD.
• Requires an active U.S. Government TS/SCI clearance current and willingness to sit for a polygraph.
• Direct RMF documentation experience (assessment/authorization).
• Experience with RMF accreditation functions (POAM, scanning, assessment, NOM/POAM).
• Experience assessing Cybersecurity posture per customer requirements and DoD/IC directives.
• Experience with requirements development from control listings.
• Experience integrating CSSE requirements with SDLC initiatives.
• Experience adjusting security methodologies for DoD/IC environments per NIST 800-53.
• Analytical evaluation methods for cybersecurity implementations.
• Strong written and oral communication with internal/external stakeholders.
• Experience in DoW/IC System Security Engineering activities.
• Security+ or CISSP certification.
• Experience working in an Agile execution framework.

Responsibilities

• Support architecture and design of baked-in cybersecurity requirements and protections.
• Provide cybersecurity system engineering implementation guidance to teams.
• Review stakeholder security objectives and verification methods.
• Inform systems engineering to reduce security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Evaluate costs/benefits of security functions for design trade-offs.
• Author and maintain cybersecurity program docs and RMF artifacts.
• Apply CSSE responsibilities to Cross Domain Solutions and related areas.
