Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Principal Cyber Security Architect/Engineer to lead security reference architectures across Hybrid Cloud, Private Cloud, and Enterprise environments. You will design secure frameworks, advise on emerging threats, and mentor security professionals while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role is hybrid with remote options, reporting to the Director of Cyber Security, and 100% onsite for the first 90 days as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cyber security roles, with multi-domain exposure.
• Deep knowledge of security architectures across hyperscalers (AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI).
• Experience with network segmentation and secure design principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of security reference architectures for cloud and enterprise environments.
• Develop enforceable security strategies for data centers, virtualization, and AI tech.
• Provide architectural leadership for endpoint security and SaaS integrations.
• Establish and enforce security architecture standards aligned with Honeywell goals.
• Engage with external partners to evaluate security integrations (not hands-on).
• Provide guidance on security best practices and emerging threats.
• Support security assessments and risk management enterprise-wide.
• Support Physical Security during M&A for secure integration/separation.
• Mentor security and IT architects as SME.
