Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Principal Cyber Security Architect/Engineer to design and implement cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions. You will lead architecture across Hybrid and Private Cloud, SaaS, and enterprise environments, driving technical excellence and incident response readiness.

You will report to the Director of Cyber Security and work in a flexible Hybrid/Remote model, with an initial 90-day onsite requirement.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in a cyber-focused role across single or multi-domain environments.
In-depth knowledge of security architectures across AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI.
Experience with data center security, virtualization, and AI security considerations.
Proven ability to develop and implement enterprise security strategies and frameworks (Zero-trust).
Hands-on experience with security frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO 27001/62443, AI RMF, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK).

Responsibilities

Lead design and implementation of security reference architectures for Hybrid/Private Cloud, SaaS and enterprise environments.
Develop enforceable security strategies for Data Centers, Virtualization, and AI tech.
Provide architectural leadership for endpoint security, data protection, and SaaS integrations.
Establish security architecture standards aligned with Honeywell’s goals.
Guide external partners on security integrations (no hands-on implementation).
Mentor security and IT architects as a subject matter expert.
Support security assessments and enterprise risk management.
Assist Physical Security during M&A with secure integration guidance.
Act as technical mentor for security teams.
