Job summary

Honeywell seeks a Principal Cyber Security Architect/Engineer to lead design and implementation of advanced security solutions. You will work across Hyper-scale and enterprise environments, shaping reference architectures, enforcing standards, and guiding vendors.

This role emphasizes Zero Trust, data protection, and proactive threat response while mentoring other security and IT architects. Hybrid schedule with an initial 90 days onsite, reporting to the Director of Cyber Security.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of cyber security experience in a single or multi-domain role.
• Deep knowledge of security architectures across hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Experience with network segmentation and secure design.
• Proven ability to implement enterprise security strategies (Zero-trust).
• Hands-on familiarity with NIST/ISO 27001/62443/AI RMF, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK.
• Knowledge of data protection techniques and endpoint security.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of security reference architectures for hybrid/enterprise environments.
• Provide architectural leadership for security controls and integrations, including Zero Trust and IAM.
• Develop and enforce security standards, frameworks, and best practices aligned with Honeywell goals.
• Guide external partners on security integrations and continuous improvement of architectures.
• Mentor security and IT architects and support risk management activities.
• Support security assessments and cross-functional collaboration including during M&A.
