Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Principal Cyber Security Architect/Engineer to lead the design and implementation of advanced cybersecurity solutions across hybrid cloud and enterprise environments. You will act as a subject-matter expert, shaping security architecture and guiding cross‑functional teams to improve resilience.

Reporting to the Director of Cyber Security, you will develop and enforce security strategies, mentor architects, and support risk management while staying ahead of emerging threats

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a cyber-focused role across at least one domain
• Deep knowledge of security architectures across AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI
• Experience with network segmentation and secure network design principles
• Strong data center, virtualization, and AI security awareness
• Ability to develop and implement enterprise security strategies (Zero-trust)
• Hands-on familiarity with NIST/ISO 27001/ISO 62443/AI RMF, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK
• Knowledge of encryption, tokenization, and DLP
• Familiarity with EDR and antivirus technologies

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of security reference architectures for Hybrid Cloud, Private Cloud, SaaS, and Enterprise environments with Zero Trust principles
• Develop enforceable security strategies for Data Centers, Virtualization, and AI technologies
• Provide architectural leadership for endpoint security, data protection, and SaaS integrations
• Establish and enforce security architecture standards aligned with Honeywell’s goals
• Engage with partners to evaluate security tech integrations (not hands-on)
• Provide expert guidance on security best practices and emerging threats
• Support security assessments and enterprise risk management
• Support Physical Security during M&A with architectural guidance
• Act as SME and mentor for security and IT architects
