Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Principal Cyber Security Architect/Engineer to lead design and implementation of advanced cybersecurity solutions across hybrid cloud, data centers, and AI environments. You will work with cross-functional teams, set security architecture standards, and mentor security and IT architects.

The role reports to the Director of Cyber Security, offers a remote-friendly schedule with 90 days on-site at start, and requires deep expertise in zero-trust, IAM, and risk management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cyber security architecture or a related role.
• Deep knowledge of security architectures across major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with data centers, virtualization, and AI security considerations.
• Proven ability to develop and implement enterprise-level security strategies and frameworks (Zero-trust).
• Hands-on with security standards such as NIST ISO 27001/ISO 62443/CIS Controls.
• Knowledge of data protection techniques and EDR technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of security reference architectures for Hybrid Cloud, Private Cloud, SaaS, and Enterprise environments.
• Establish and enforce security architecture standards and best practices.
• Provide architectural leadership for endpoint security, data protection, and SaaS integrations.
• Engage with external partners to evaluate security technology integrations.
• Mentor security and IT architects across the organization.
• Support security assessments and risk management activities across the enterprise.
• Assist M&A security integration with architectural guidance.
