Job summary

Honeywell International, Inc. is seeking a Principal Cyber Security Architect/Engineer to lead design and implementation of cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions.

This role combines hands-on defense with architectural guidance, reporting to the Director of Cyber Security and working in a hybrid schedule from CT/OR US-based remote/hub locations. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, drive security reference architectures for cloud and on‑prem environments, and mentor security and IT

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a cyber focused role.
• Deep knowledge of security architectures across hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Experience with network segmentation and secure network design principles.
• Data center security, virtualization tech, and AI security considerations.
• Proven enterprise security strategy development (Zero-trust, Secure AI).
• Hands-on with NIST ISO 27001/ISO 62443/CIS controls and MITRE ATT&CK.

Responsibilities

• Lead design/implementation of security reference architectures across Hybrid/Private Cloud, SaaS, and enterprise environments.
• Guide enforcement of security standards aligned with Honeywell’s goals.
• Provide expertise on security best practices and emerging threats; mentor others.
• Support security assessments and enterprise risk management.
