Honeywell International, Inc. is seeking a Principal Cyber Security Architect/Engineer to lead the design and implementation of advanced cybersecurity solutions across Hybrid Cloud, Private Cloud, and Enterprise environments.

You will guide security strategy, mentor architects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen defenses and drive secure innovation. Reporting to the Director of Cyber Security, this role supports security assessments, risk management, and incident response

Qualifications

• 10+ years of cyber-focused experience in a single or multi-domain role.
• In-depth knowledge of security architectures across major hyperscalers.
• Experience with secure network design and AI security considerations.
• Proven ability to develop enterprise security strategies and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of security reference architectures for cloud and enterprise environments.
• Provide architectural leadership for endpoint security, data protection, and SaaS integrations.
• Set security standards, frameworks and best practices aligned with Honeywell goals.
• Engage with partners to evaluate security technology integrations (non-implementation).
• Guide on security best practices and emerging threats; drive continuous improvement.
• Support security assessments and risk management across the enterprise.
• Assist Physical Security during M&A by advising secure integration/separation.
• Serve as SME and mentor for security and IT architects.
