Job summary

Amentum, a global engineering and technology leader, seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Risk Analyst to own enterprise cyber risk assessment work and articulate risk to business leadership. The role is US remote telework and requires US citizenship, with travel up to 25%.

You will examine engineering and IT decisions for cyber risk beyond compliance, driving cohesive risk management across the organization and collaborating with GR&C and other stakeholders to advise on risk posture and control

Qualifications

• Typically 8 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with practical environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS or related field, or 4 years with Master’s.
• Experience in enterprise risk management and third-party or vendor cyber risk assessment.
• Current Security+ or equivalent certification.
• U.S. Citizenship required; US remote-telework within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cyber risk assessments across the enterprise, identifying risk to confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data.
• Articulate cyber risk to business and technical leadership in clear, decision-ready terms.
• Lead cyber risk reviews across multiple assessment types and track enterprise AI development related to cyber risk.
• Ensure risk interpretation aligns with compliance and that risk treatment is coherent across frameworks.
• Evaluate risk implications of technology decisions across networking, cloud, endpoint, and identity architectures.
• Draft residual risk statements and suggest risk reduction where needed.
• Improve GR&C operational processes and maintain currency on regulatory landscape.
