Amentum is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Risk Analyst to join the Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance team in a US remote capacity. The role leads enterprise cyber risk assessment work, translating technical risk into business terms for leadership decisions.

Ideal candidates have deep hands-on cybersecurity experience, strong knowledge of risk frameworks, and the ability to operate autonomously. Remote work within the United States is required, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Typically 8 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, with depth in real environments.
• Experience in enterprise risk management and third-party cyber risk assessment.
• Current Security+ or equivalent certification.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• U.S. Remote-Telework role; must reside within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cyber risk assessments across the enterprise and identify risk to CI&A.
• Articulate cyber risk to leadership in decision-ready terms against risk appetite.
• Lead cyber risk reviews across third-party, temporary, and software risk areas.
• Coordinate with Compliance to ensure coherent risk treatment across frameworks.
• Evaluate technology decisions for cyber risk in networking, cloud, endpoint, and IAM.
• Flag residual risk exceeding appetite and specify required reductions.
• Contribute risk posture input to scoping and architecture decisions.
• Improve GR&C processes: methodology, intake, evidence handling, judgment consistency.
• Maintain current cyber risk knowledge and share with the team.
• Travel up to 25%; perform other duties as assigned.
