Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Risk Analyst to join our US-remote Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance team. You will own enterprise cyber risk assessment work, communicating risk to business leadership and guiding decisions to accept, mitigate, or remediate.

Your work emphasizes risk framing beyond compliance, integrating guidance from NIST and other standards to support a cohesive enterprise security program. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Typically 8 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with a Bachelor’s degree +; or 4 years with Master’s
• Experience in enterprise risk management and in third-party or vendor cyber risk assessment
• Current Security+ or equivalent certification. Hands-on capability weighed more than credentials.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and reside in the United States for remote work

Responsibilities

• Conduct cyber risk assessments of enterprise activities and decisions, identifying risk to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Articulate cyber risk to leadership in clear, decision-ready terms against risk appetite.
• Lead cyber risk reviews across various assessment types and track enterprise AI development as it relates to cyber risk.
• Coordinate with Compliance to ensure coherent risk treatment across frameworks and avoid gaps.
• Evaluate cyber risk implications of technology decisions across networking, cloud, endpoint, and identity architectures.
• Flag residual risk when it exceeds appetite and specify required reductions.
