Amentum is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Risk Analyst for a US remote position within the Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance team. You will own enterprise cyber risk assessment work, framing risk in business terms for informed decisions by leadership against the enterprise risk appetite.

The role requires technical insight into networking, cloud, endpoint, and identity decisions, and the credibility to influence engineering and IT teams and leadership. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Typically 8 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with real technology environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or 4 years with a Master.
• Current Security+ or equivalent certification; hands-on capability valued over credentials.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cyber risk assessments across the enterprise and identify risk to systems and data.
• Articulate cyber risk to business and technical leadership against risk appetite.
• Lead cyber risk reviews, including third-party risk, risk-acceptance, and software risk reviews.
• Coordinate with Compliance to ensure coherent risk treatment across frameworks.
• Evaluate technology decisions for cyber risk in networking, cloud, endpoint, and IAM.
• Flag residual risk when exceeding appetite and define needed risk reductions.
• Contribute to scoping and architecture decisions, considering enclave boundaries and cert environments.
• Improve GR&C processes: methodology, intake, documentation, and risk judgments.
• Stay current on cyber risk, threats, technology, and regulatory landscape.
• Travel up to 25% and perform other duties as assigned.
