Job summary

Amentum, a global leader in advanced engineering and technology, is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Risk Analyst. This senior individual contributor role sits in the Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GR&C) team and owns the enterprise's cyber risk assessment work, translating complexity into actionable risk for business leadership.

Qualifications

• Typically 8 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with a degree, or 4 years with a Master's.
• Experience in enterprise risk management and third-party cyber risk assessment.
• Current Security+ or equivalent certification.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• U.S. Remote-Telework; must reside within the United States to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cyber risk assessments across the enterprise.
• Articulate cyber risk to business and technical leadership.
• Lead cyber risk reviews (third-party, risk acceptance, software risk).
• Coordinate with Compliance to ensure coherent risk treatment.
• Evaluate risk implications of technology decisions across networks, cloud, endpoints, and IAM.
• Articulate residual risk and required reductions.
• Contribute to risk posture in scoping and architecture decisions.
• Improve GR&C processes and risk articulation standards.
• Maintain knowledge of cyber risk landscape and regulatory changes.
• Travel up to 25%.
