Job summary

Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) in Georgia seeks a Law Enforcement Specialist (Technical Investigations Instructor) at GS-1801-13. The role drives advanced instruction in covert surveillance, device investigations, and mobile forensics within the Cyber Division’s Technical Training Operations.

Qualifications

• SPF (Selective Placement Factor) for federal law enforcement positions.
• Must meet the specialized experience requirements for GS-13 level.
• Background investigation and security clearance requirements are part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior instructor and program/course developer in CYD training areas.
• Conduct classroom, laboratory, and field instruction sessions.
• Provide oversight of training classes and instructor development.
• Deliver advanced export training at various sites domestically and internationally.
• Adapt instruction to meet immediate training needs and student requirements.
• Contribute to analytical processes involved in training course development.
