Qualifications

• Experience as a sworn law enforcement officer or agent with full arrest authority in federal/state/local/military criminal laws.
• Instructing basic and advanced law enforcement training curriculum in firearms topics.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring progress of students, documenting results, and recommending remedial training and changes to training or procedures.
• Developing and revising program/course material in the firearms instructional field.
• Ensuring proper handling and safety of firearms and the safety of students at all times; providing remedial instruction as needed.
• Writing curriculum summaries based on research for updating course material and student lesson plans.
