GLOVIS America, Inc. is seeking a senior customs brokerage professional to manage complex U.S. import entries and post-entry activities, ensuring compliance with CBP, PGA, and client standards.

The role is located in Duluth, GA and involves training junior staff, coordinating with customers and partners, and driving process improvements. You will guide entry writers, perform audits, prepare reports, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our brokerage operations while maintaining strict

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and brokerage operations.
• Experience with entry processing and PGA submissions.
• Strong HTS classification and valuation knowledge.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Process complex Customs Entries and ISF filings accurately and timely.
• Review import documents, tariff classifications, valuation, and PGA requirements for compliance.
• Handle CSP inquiries, CF28/CF29, Notices of Action, and corrective actions.
• Monitor cargo release, examinations, entry rejections, liquidation, and post-entry activity.
• Coordinate with customers, overseas offices, CSP, PGAs, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct entry audits and verify duty, fee, and payment accuracy.
• Support PSC, reconciliation, protest, drawback, and other post-entry processes.
• Provide training to entry writers and junior team members.
• Identify compliance risks and recommend process improvements.
• Assist management with brokerage SOPs, compliance initiatives, and special projects.
• Prepare operational reports, exception summaries, and customer updates.
• Support customer meetings and resolution of escalated service issues.
• Participate in system testing, workflow improvement, and departmental training.
