Job summary

GLOVIS America, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Customs Brokerage professional to manage advanced brokerage activities, including complex import entries and PGA compliance, in the Duluth, GA area.

The role involves guiding junior team members, conducting entry audits, and coordinating with customers, CSPs, PGAs, carriers, and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant brokerage operations.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Customs Brokerage, Import Compliance, Freight Forwarding experience.
• Advanced knowledge of CBP regulations and customs brokerage operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process complex Customs Entries and ISF filings accurately and timely.
• Review import documents, tariff classifications, valuation, and PGA requirements for compliance.
• Handle CSP inquiries including CF28, CF29, Notices of Action, and corrective actions.
• Monitor cargo release, examinations, entry rejections, liquidation, and post-entry activity.
• Coordinate with customers, overseas offices, CSP, PGAs, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct entry audits and verify duty, fee, and payment accuracy.
• Support PSC, reconciliation, protest, drawback, and other post-entry processes.
• Provide technical guidance and training to entry writers and junior team members.
• Identify compliance risks and recommend process and operational improvements
• Assist management with brokerage SOPs, compliance initiatives, and special projects.
• Prepare operational reports, exception summaries, and customer updates.
• Support customer meetings and resolution of escalated service issues.
• Participate in system testing, workflow improvement, and departmental training

Summary

Performs advanced customs brokerage activities requiring strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, Partner Government Agency requirements, and client service standards. Handles complex import entries and post-entry matters, provides technical support to team members, and helps maintain accurate, timely, and compliant brokerage operations.

Compensation Range

$54,784- $59,765 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
