Job summary

Enterprise is seeking a Customer Assistance Representative Senior in New Jersey to deliver high-level service to customers in-branch and at the rental counter. This full-time seasonal role runs from mid-May 2027 to mid-November 2027 with pay at $17.75 per hour, supporting multiple counties including Monmouth, Middlesex, Sussex, Ocean, and Morris.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience and/or college experience.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Available to work 40 hours per week during the season.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Must live within a reasonable 1-hour commute of the location within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Take incoming calls for reservations, rate quotes, questions, and provide information/resolution to customers and vendors.
• Manage outbound calls for callbacks, A/Rs, and other tasks as assigned.
• Provide high-level customer service in person and over the phone to assess rental needs.
• Greet customers warmly and guide them efficiently.
• Provide directions and general assistance.
• Assess rental condition upon return and process check-in and exits.
• Market the company while transporting customers safely and courteously.
• Explain rental terms, vehicle features, and available services.
• May upsell protection products, upgrades, fuel options, and extra equipment.
• Notify Management of vehicle issues and maintenance needs.
• Clean vehicle interiors/exteriors as needed.
• Perform administrative tasks such as billing support, accounts receivable, and reports.
