Job summary

Infinitum Electric in Austin, TX seeks a Customer Quality & RMA Engineer to own the end-to-end RMA lifecycle, from initial notification to verified closure. You will drive root cause analysis, containment, and corrective actions while maintaining transparent communication with customers.

The role requires 4–6 years in customer quality or warranty, strong 8D capability, and experience with quality tools. Hybrid work options and a competitive benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 4–6 years' experience in customer quality or warranty in manufacturing.
• Strong experience with 8D problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Experience managing RMA processes with external customers.
• Proficiency with quality tools and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end RMA process from customer notification to closure.
• Lead customer quality reviews and provide quality reporting.
• Coordinate containment and 8D actions for field issues.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation (FMEAs, control plans).
• Support internal audits and supplier quality initiatives.
