Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Customer Order Program Manager to lead the enterprise customer order lifecycle across multiple facilities, driving governance and standardized processes in a heavy industrial setting.

You will oversee a team of Project Managers, own the portfolio, monitor budgets and schedules, and deliver executive dashboards for senior leadership. Strong communication and customer-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of end-to-end Project/Program Management experience.
• 2+ years of direct leadership/people management experience.
• Manufacturing/industrial/engineer-to-order or heavy equipment background.
• Experience managing large-scale custom projects and portfolios.
• Proven experience establishing PMO governance frameworks and standardized processes.
• PMP Certification required.
• Strong portfolio management and program management experience.
• Exceptional executive communication and customer-facing skills.
• Experience with budgets, schedules, ROI, and portfolio performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a growing team of Customer Order Project Managers.
• Establish and standardize the company's customer order management process across all manufacturing sites.
• Own the enterprise customer order portfolio and monitor budget performance.
• Provide executive-level reporting and dashboards for senior leadership.
• Conduct governance reviews to identify risks, bottlenecks, and resource constraints.
• Develop project management templates, RAID logs, SOWs, and portfolio tools.
• Drive PMO maturity and best practices across the organization.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers throughout project lifecycles.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Sales teams.
