Allison Transmission is seeking a Customer Integration Engineer to support OEMs and distributors, ensuring proper integration of Allison Off-Highway products into customer equipment. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, testing of new features, and coordinating customer test programs.

The ideal candidate will have powertrain engineering experience, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel up to 30% to support customer programs across global OEM networks.

Qualifications

• BSME, BSEE or equivalent engineering experience.
• Five or more years of powertrain engineering experience.
• Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in oral and written business communication.
• High interpersonal skills to work cross-culturally.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time to support customer programs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper application of Allison products into customer equipment and vehicles.
• Apply power pack design principles with integration tools to optimize installations.
• Develop relationships with OEM and end-user customers, Distributor/Dealer networks, and internal teams.
• Be the technical resource across the product release cycle, including design, testing, and issue resolution.
• Understand release process requirements and implement plans to maximize OEM compliance.
• Stay current with Allison and industry technical developments.
• Communicate future product features and implementation requirements to relevant departments.
• Relay OEM and end-user requirements to appropriate Allison teams.
