Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking a Customer Engineer in Seattle to interface with customers, integrate with product development and sales teams, and deliver power interconnect solutions.

You will translate customer needs into technical requirements, prepare models and presentations, collaborate with engineering and test labs, and travel as required to support key accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of technical support for design wins in connectors.
• Experience with Creo and Windchill for 3D modeling and PDM.
• Knowledge of server/storage/networking concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to develop power interconnect solutions.
• Assess customer needs and map them to current products or propose new concepts.
• Provide technical documents, drawings, and lab test results.
• Collaborate with engineering, thermal, MFG and test labs.
• Lead or participate in Voice of Customer activities.
• Travel as required.
