Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years proven experience providing technical support to produce design wins in connectors.
• Proficient in 3D modeling and Product Data Management (Creo and Windchill).
• Some knowledge of server/storage/networking/data center rack level architectures preferred.
• Experience with industry specifications (UL, EIA, IEC, Telcordia, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to develop power solutions addressing their needs and technical requirements.
• Assess customer needs and map to current products or propose modifications or new concepts for engineering.
• Create models and technical presentations to propose concepts and solutions.
• Provide key engineering documents: drawings, product specs, lab test results, and analyses.
• Engage with thermal engineering and simulation teams to support design proposals and lab testing.
• Lead or participate in Voice of Customer activities and strategic objective achievement.
