Job summary

Pendo is seeking a Senior Customer Engineer to own strategic Enterprise accounts across acquisition, implementation, adoption, expansion, and escalation. You will lead technical strategy for complex deployments, resolve ambiguous customer challenges, and partner with account teams to drive retention, expansion, and customer value.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Customer Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with web technologies and REST APIs for complex front-end implementations.
• Experience managing strategic Enterprise accounts with executive stakeholders and complex requirements.
• Proven ability to solve ambiguous problems with multiple variables and tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical strategy for complex deployments and drive value realization for strategic accounts.
• Partner with account teams on pre-sales motions, tailored demos, and technical evaluations.
• Own onboarding, planning, integrations, and training for enterprise customers.
• Identify expansion opportunities and connect technical work to measurable business outcomes.
• Serve as escalation point for technical challenges and mentor junior engineers.
• Develop playbooks and reusable content to raise team capability and efficiency.
