Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Customer Development Manager to drive Retail Poultry sales, expand market share, and implement effective merchandising plans. You will build strong broker and customer relationships, optimize pricing, promotions, and account penetration, and collaborate with Sales, Strategy, and Business Units to hit AOP targets.

Local candidates in the Northwest Arkansas region are preferred; travel up to 12 trips per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience.
• 5+ years of sales experience.
• Knowledge of Retail Poultry preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Project management or strategic planning experience required.

Responsibilities

• Sell Retail Poultry products and increase market share through merchandising plans.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and grow account penetration.
• Analyze pricing and promotions based on profitability and objectives.
• Lead retail Poultry meetings with brokers and guide broker managers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Strategy, and Business Units to hit AOP goals.
